We are an independent print shop located in the beautiful spa town of Ilkley in West Yorkshire since 2007. We are Robert and Charlotte the owners of Savvy Sewist. Charlotte is an experienced sewist having had a number of machines over the years and made everything from bags to britches!

You can call us! Many of these so called print companies either don’t answer the phone or don’t have one, so go on call Charlotte and let her know about your next sewing project!
It’s a good question with so many so called ‘printers’ out there! To start we have five commercial printers so if one breaks down it’s not a problem. We are not a pattern designer that happens to have a printer or someone sat in their bedroom that fancies making a bit of extra cash. We are a proper shop with our own printers, you can even collect if you want to.
Price
The screen price is the price you pay, it’s always disappointing when you load up your basket to find out at checkout the dreaded VAT and postage is not included!
Paper Choice?
We offer the widest range of paper on the internet including our fabulous 40gsm paper, it might sound thin but it has good see through properties, can be used for tracing, it is difficult to tear and putting pins through is easy with it’s flexibility. We also offer both 60gsm and 75gsm which are also good quality papers.
